Zero Drop
Oxford
BOTH ARE GREAT CONSTRUCTION METHODS AND HAVE THEIR SPECIFIC FEATURES.
IT MOSTLY COMES DOWN TO AESTHETIC PREFERENCE.
Blake Stitch
More sleek and flexible than the Goodyear welt. It has less material on the shoe since the outer is sewn directly to the insole & outsole. This can also be resoled, but might be tougher to find a local cobbler that will do it.
Goodyear Welt
Easier to resole at a local cobbler since it is the most common type of quality shoe construction. A tad bulkier than Blake Stitch since the outer is sewn to the midsole, creating 1 more layer.
Often considered the gold standard of shoemaking because it can be resoled many times.
